STEP ONE

INITIAL CONSULTATION

It all begins with an idea. This is now the time to really dive into it. We will start to have conversations about functionality and style. This is your time to tell me all your hopes and dreams for your space! I also will make some suggestions or have some design ideas to consider, but this meeting is largely about gathering as much information as possible to understand your needs.

STEP TWO

CONCEPT DESIGN PHASE

Time to get excited—during the conceptual design phase, I am putting together our vision for your home! I develope for your property design concepts which include potential plan layouts and mood boards and begin to explore finishes, design styles and influences.

STEP THREE

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE

After the initial design concept is approved, the design development phase begins. . We refine the internal floor plans and specify the key finishes and materials for floors, walls, furniture, etc., while defining the lighting concepts and technical requirements for the final approval.

STEP FOUR

TECHNICAL PLANNING PHASE

Once the layout has been finalized, we will enter the technical design phase where we will create a coordinated, detailed technical construction package for the project, including knock-downs for remodeling and any proposed new construction details.

STEP FIVE

FF&E PLANNING PHASE

We've completed the construction details so next we will develop fully detailed finishes schedules and FF&E specifications for every area in the property, drafting out joinery, sanitary and electrical requirements for the tender process.

STEP SIX

TENDER PACKAGE PHASE

As the detail design stages are complete, the tender process begins. We can suggest to you (if you want) appropriate and reliable contractors and compare quotation together. After deciding on the contractors, we develop a realistic construction timetable.

STEP SEVEN

CONSTRUCTION PHASE

As soon as the contractor is selected, we will arrange meetings to further discuss the design details with them. Throughout the construction phase we will work closely with the contractors and the FF&E suppliers to successfully complete our final design.

STEP EIGHT

FINAL STEP

After a long journey, the day has finally come for the last walk through—yay! To make sure that you are totally and completely in love with your new home design, I will walk you through the space and note any deficiencies that need to be resolved, while coordinating solutions. This is also the time where I will take pictures of your beautiful home and give you the final invoice.
